Dear MJCS Families:
Hope everyone had good time last week and last weekend!
Thank to our PTO, teachers, staffs and volunteers for the Halloween party and delivering wonderful treats to our kids. We were very happy to see many of us “show” up with the costumes! We are looking forward to having another great time next year.
This Saturday will be the Mid-Term Exam and Parents-Teacher Conference. Wish all the students do great in the test. Right after the class, it will be the time for all parents getting to know more about your child doing in the class from the teacher.
Due to parent-teacher conference this week and in school speech contest on Nov. 21. Please note there will not be adult Chinese on both days.
Next Saturday will be our In-School Speech Contest. There will be No Cultural class next week. Besides the top 3 students selected from each class, we encourage as many as students to join our School speech contest next week. Please inform your class teacher to sign up for the speech contest next week.
Our PC3 teacher, Joy Huang will be starting her tutoring section later this Saturday due to the Parents-Teacher Conference.
Thank to everyone who joined the school paintball trip last Saturday! Hope you all had great time!
Thanksgiving is 2 weeks from now, so remember to get your Shop Rite Gift Cards and start accumulating points for the complimentary turkey or ham.

PTO News:
- Please continue supporting the fundraising efforts of the PTO by purchasing Shoprite and H-Mart gift cards. The PTO receives 5% from the sales of the gift cards. Gift cards can be purchased in the lobby at drop off or at the PTO table in the cafeteria.
- We had a great turnout at the Halloween Party. A big thank you to all who participated and helped in making the event a success. Special thanks to Mary Pan and Sharon Shih for decorating a table each and donating the goodies for the kids to trick or treat, and to Alex Yu for providing the music and emceeing the event.
- The Reuse and Recycle Fundraiser is up and running in the school lobby. Please stop by and check out the items we have each week!!! Thank you to all the families who have donated books and toys for this fundraiser.

親愛的各位老師，家長,同學們，
希望大家上星期都渡過了美好的一週!
感謝我們的家長會，教職人員和志工為這次萬聖節聯歡的付出和幫忙。 我們很高興看到許多的學生和家長熱烈的參與！ 期待明年的萬聖節聯歡也同樣精彩。
本週六是期中考和母姐會。 在此預祝各位學生都能拿到好成績。 語言課結束後就是母姐會，這是一個非常好的機會讓各位家長了解更多您的小孩在班上的情形。
由於這個星期母姐會和下個星期六校內演講比賽的關係, 成人中文班將停課兩周.
下週六是本校的校級演講比賽。文化課將停課一次。 除了各班選出最好的3位學生外，我們十分鼓勵更多的學生來報名參加下週的比賽。有興趣的家長及學生請在本週六向各班老師報名。
Joy老師的中文課後輔導將會在學校母姐會後開始。
感謝上週六所有參加打漆彈活動的家長及學生！ 希望大家都玩得盡興!
感恩節再過兩個星期就到了。不要忘了購買本校的禮券及集滿點數換取火雞或火腿。

這次的萬聖節聯歡十分成功。感謝所有參與人員的參與及幫忙。 特別感謝Mary Pan, Sharon Shih 佈置每個桌子和捐贈餅乾以及Alex Yu 提供的音樂和節目主持。
本校資源回收募款活動已經開始。請大家將家中不要的但狀況良好的衣服，書和玩具等捐贈出來。 我們會每週在學校大廳舉行拍賣募款。
