Dear MJCS Families,
- Many thanks to our volunteers, judges, teachers, and staff for making our Cantonese Speech Contest a success. A special shout-out to all our students and parents for all their hard work and dedication.
- There will be no cultural class, but we do have a scheduled make-up class for Chinese Folk Dance.
- We will have no class for the next weeks: December 23 and 30. Happy holidays!
PTO Newsletter for 12/09/17
1) This Saturday from 11:30-12:30 is our annual Holiday Party and Karaoke Contest. After Chinese language class please bring your kids to the Cafetorium to enjoy some sweet treats and sing karaoke. Our youth volunteers have been busy decorating a cardboard gingerbread house for our party and will have gingerbread men cookies for the kids to decorate.
2) ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards make great teachers' gifts for the holidays. Denominations are available for as low as $10, $20 or $25. The PTO will be selling them in the lobby. 5%-6% of all gift card sales will be donated to the school.
3) Food vendors will be in the Cafetorium lobby from 11:00am-12:30pm. This week's food vendors are:
- Domoko Sushi Ramen (teriyaki lunch boxes, ho-fun noodles and sushi rolls)
- Honest Foods (kimchi, fermented rice and Asian-style pancakes)
- Hsiu-Ling Taiwanese Kitchen (assorted lunch boxes and bubble tea)

- 上週的粵語演講比賽圓滿閉幕， 再次感謝評審、教師、家長與義工們的協助！每位參賽的表現都可圈可點！大家繼續加油！期望來年有更好的表現。
- 本週六沒有文化課，但民俗舞蹈班將在本週六補課，請舞蹈班的同學準時到班上課。
- 本校12/23及12/30停課。祝福大家佳節快樂、新年如意！
家長會通知：
- 家長會的耶誕節慶祝活動本週六登場！活動還包括卡拉OK點唱，時間是11:30-12:30。 我們的青少年義工已經備好薑餅屋的佈置工作，家長會也準備薑餅人供學生們裝飾！請語言課教師在下課後引領學生到大廳同樂！
- 家長會持續在銷售超市禮卡，有ShopRite, 漢龍超市及大華超市等！請大家踴躍購買。每銷售一張禮卡，家長會將獲得百分之五到六的回扣，嘉惠學子。感謝大家的支持！
- 本週美食攤： Domoko日本壽司及便當、秀玲台式小吃便當奶茶、以及誠實食品的泡菜、酒釀及發麵餅。
