WEEK TWENTY

Dear MJCS Families,

Our Lion Dance and San Tai Tze Dance troupe were performing at the the South Plainfield Senior Center and CACA Gala this past Saturday. They were amazing! Kudos for all their hard work and dedication. 

The Association of New Jersey Chinese School (ANJCS) is rolling out several competitions in the next two months. If you are interested, please contact your teacher, or drop by the school admin desk for more information.

Due to power outage, Chinese Chess Contest at Princeton Chinese School has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Speech Contest will be held at Murray Hill Chinese School on Saturday,  April 21, 2018. Register no later than April 7.

Calligraphy Contest will be held at Bergen Chinese School on Sunday,  April 29, 2018. Register no later than April 14.

Multimedia/Story/Cultural Presentation Contest to be held at Raritan Valley Chinese School on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Register no later than March 31.

There will be no folk dance class for the next two weeks (3/17, & 3/24).

1. Learn how to build a better retirement while your children are in class studying Chinese!  This Saturday at 10:00am Beverly Roun from New York Life will be conducting a free seminar on the challenges pre-retirees face when it comes to building their income for retirement.  The seminar will be in classroom 406 inside the Cafetorium.  Please sign up using the following link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0b4aafa623a02-newyork1
2. Food vendors will be in the Cafetorium lobby from 11:00am-12:30pm.  This week's food vendors are:
   – Bo-Hai Dumpling (assorted frozen dumplings and buns)
   – Domoko Sushi Ramen (teriyaki lunch boxes, noodles and sushi rolls)
   – Happy Family (assorted appetizers and lunch boxes)
   - Honest Foods: (kimchi, fermented rice and Asian-style pancakes)

親愛的中部中文學校大家庭成員們，

本校舞獅團、電音三太子與民族舞蹈團在南平原市的春節慶祝及中美文化協會的春節晚宴中的表演出色。辛苦演練獲得肯定，值得喝采！

紐澤西中文學校協會(ANJCS)在下兩個月中將進行多項競賽，有興趣參加者，請洽教務處。以下是各項比賽：
– 象棋比賽因停電，改成在三月十八日進行。
– 演講比賽將於四月二十一日在梅山中文學校進行。報名截止日是四月七日。
– 書法比賽將在四月二十九日，假博根中文學校舉行。報名截止日是四月十四日。
– 多媒體／故事／文化海報比賽將於四月十五日假瑞谷中文學校舉行。報名截止日是三月三十一日。

民族舞蹈課將停課兩天：三月十七日與三月二十四日。

家長會通知：

3. 本週美食攤(11:00 am -12:300 pm)：誠實美食的泡菜、酒釀及大餅。快樂家庭便當。渤海樓北方麵點美食。Domoko 日式餐點。
