Week Five

Dear MJCS Families,

• The next two weeks are class picture days. We begin this week (10/7) with these classes: Chinese 101, Traditional Chinese 1A to 10A. Next week (10/14) with classes: CSL3, PC2 to PC6, Advanced Chinese, Cantonese 2 to 6. Please dress well.
• For students who need tutoring, Please meet Ms. Joy this Saturday at the cafeteria. Class starts from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
• Tickets are still available for next Sunday’s (10/15) CACA Autumn BBQ at Duke Island Park. Last year we had over 200 participants. There will be a lot of food, and games!  You can purchase tickets at the school administration desk. Fee is $12 a person, and children under 6 are free. Join us!

From our PTO:

1) The PTO will be having their fall breakfast sale on Saturday, October 14.  A sign-up email will be sent out shortly. Please consider volunteering to bring in your homemade goodies for us to sell!  Show off your cooking skills!

2) Jen Lee will be selling box lunches from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

本週活動預告與訊息：

• 本週及下週是班級相片拍照日。請家長們提醒孩子們穿戴整齊！以下是拍照日班級順序安排：
  10/7: 基礎中文班 101， 傳統中文1甲到10甲
  10/14:進階中文中文、雙語班三年級、實用中文班二年級到六年級、成人中文班,廣東班二到六年級。
• 需要或想要加強中文的學生，胡瑞華老師每週六11:30-12:30間在大禮堂提供特別指導。請把握機會、更上一層樓。
• 10/15中美文化協會在Duke Island Park舉辦的重陽節秋季烤肉活動，獲得熱烈迴響！歡迎大家一起來與我們同樂！請到教務處購票。每人＄12，小孩六歲以下免費。
• 民俗文化種子教師在地培訓營，紐澤西場次尚有名額，欲參加者請從速報名! 培訓時間是 10月22日下午1:30-4:30. 地點在Piscataway 圖書館。課程內容包括客家菜包製作、傳統水墨畫及傳統盤宴舞等。意者請洽教務處。

家長會通知：

1. 家長會將在廊堂銷售超市禮卡，有ShopRite, 漢龍超市及大華超市等！請大家踴躍購買。每銷售一張禮卡，家長會將獲得百分之五到六的回扣，嘉惠學子。感謝大家的支持！
2. 本週美食攤：Jen Lee便當。
3. 家長會將在10月14舉辦早餐義賣活動。邀請將在近日送出，請家長們共襄盛舉、展現烹飪才華、與大家分享您的廚藝！
