Congratulations to all our students who represented MJCS to participate CACA speech contest on 12/7! We are very proud of them. This year, we have 3 winners. They are Group C 2nd place winner Eileen He. Group D 2nd place winner Chiung-Hsiang Chen and 3rd place winner Ella Chen. Great job!

The following are news from the MJCS PTO:
This Saturday, December 14, from 11:30-12:30 is our Annual Holiday Party and Karaoke Contest. After Chinese language class, please bring your kids to the cafetorium to enjoy some crafts, sing karaoke, and take pictures with Santa. Our youth volunteers will be co-hosting with activities.
Discounted Ticket Sale for Vernon Light Festival: MJCS PTO is selling discounted tickets to the Vernon Light Festival. The festival is from November 29 to February 2, 5pm-10pm. The price for an adult ticket is $19.99. The first 100 tickets purchased will get a complimentary child ticket ($18.51 value. Kids under 12 years old). Free Seminar - next Saturday, December 21 from 10:00am to 11:30am. Marlboro Learning Center will provide a free seminar to speak about the Importance of Reading and Writing. Our guest speaker, Charles Lin, has been devising academic programs and advising on college applications for over 10 years, and has helped students get into top colleges. Help support the school by purchasing ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards at face value. 5%-6% of all gift card sales will be donated to the school. Gift cards can be purchased in the lobby at drop-off or at the PTO table in the cafetorium.
Vendors will be selling lunch boxes in the Cafetorium lobby each week from 11:00am-12:30pm. Here are this week's vendors:
